Custom made from top-grade hardwoods, the maker’s wood countertops are available in 16 wood species including African padauk, teak, black walnut, zebrawood, and lyptus, and can be combined with an array of profiles; distressed, rustic, or standard finishes; and thicknesses from 11/4 to 51/2 inches. Hand-finished with polyurethane, the surfaces require little or no maintenance, the maker says, and are scratch-, stain-, heat-, and water-resistant.
