If you love everything about your router except the knuckle-busting two-wrench bit change, the Eliminator Chuck may be for you. According to the maker, you unscrew the factory chuck, put on the Eliminator, insert a bit, and tighten the locking screw with a 5/32-inch Allen wrench. The chuck is bored for 1/2-inch router bits, but 1/4- and 3/8-inch adapter sleeves are available. Various models fit routers from Porter-Cable, DeWalt, Bosch, and other manufacturers. The chuck costs $66; adapters cost $9.50.
