Dust-Free Safety. SawStop has introduced a new 3-hp 230-volt Professional Cabinet Saw aimed at low-volume shops. It features the company's braking technology — which stops the blade within five milliseconds if someone touches it — and a new dust-collection system with dust ports at the back of the blade guard and below the table. According to the maker, the saw's undertable baffle has aerodynamic features that help direct dust to the lower port. Prices are $2,899 with a 36-inch fence and $2,999 with a 52-inch fence.
