Delta-Vent SA is a vapor-permeable, water-resistive air barrier that requires no mechanical fasteners. It has a layer of adhesive (covered with a split-release liner) on its back that’s designed to fully adhere to OSB, plywood, gypsum, concrete, and masonry substrates without interfering with vapor transfer. It also has a 2-inch-wide strip of adhesive on its top front edge to ensure a solid bond at the lap joint. Pricing runs about $1.15 per square foot.
