Making the most of often-overlooked garage space can be a great way to upgrade and boost a home's curb appeal. Amarr's Oak Summit garage door features a beadboard carriage-house design in a four-section door with a unique centerline that gives it the illusion of a door that swings out. The 25-gauge-steel door is available with optional polystyrene insulation, which gives it an R-value of 5.65. Decorative hardware options and 17 window choices provide clients with plenty of ways to customize the look of the door.

Decorative glass is enjoying revived popularity in door inserts and bath applications. Architectural Glass Effects, a division of Clifton, N.J.-based stained glass company Studio J, featured its wide selection of textured clear and colored glass products at the New Products Pavilion. The company offers 88 textures of clear glass and 14 jewel-tone colors for use in kitchens, baths, privacy applications, shelving, and more. The company can do special shapes, laminated and tempered glass, as well as leaded panels and glass shelving. A recent arrival to the area, NMC Arstyl is a range of premium polyurethane trim products. The lightweight moldings, medallions, pilasters, and other decorative enhancements are crafted using aluminum molds, a method that ensures the most consistent part-to-part matching, the maker says. The products come ready to paint or stain, and the Flex collection offers many of the most popular moldings in flexible versions for curved walls.
