Fasco says its pneumatically-driven InvisiDeck hidden-fastening system is three to five times faster than conventional installation. Its I-CLP clip fits grooved deck boards, including those made by Fiberon, MoistureShield, ChoiceDek, and WeatherReady, while B-CLP clips are designed for non-grooved synthetic and wood decking. The installation tool shoots collated “scrails,” which are 1 1/2 inches long and 0.133 inch in diameter and compatible with ACQ-treated lumber. After fastening a clip through the edge of a deck board with the pneumatic installation tool, the installer slides the next board into place and repeats the process.
