Two all-new cordless drills, the T12+3 and 15+3, are the first of a new line of lithium-ion powered tools from Festool. Smart features include a FastFix system of five interchangeable 1/2-inch chucks, efficient lightweight brushless motors, and onboard electronic battery diagnostics and power modulation. Both tools and their chargers are backwards-compatible and can use the brand's nicad and NiMH 12-volt and 15.6-volt batteries. The T-Drills will be available in spring 2009.
