I recently visited Brian Way at his home in Connecticut, to see a kitchen he’d just completed and to shoot video of some of the items in his Shop on Wheels, which appeared in a series of stories we published last year. What I like about the truck is how incredibly well-organized it is. But like any shop or workspace, it’s a work in progress, so for every project that is completely finished another is still underway. Way’s mechanic’s toolbox is a good example. I asked him to show me what all he had in there and he kindly agreed to let me shoot video, even though some of the drawers have yet to be organized. The box contains many of the usual tools plus some I was not familiar with. Check it out.
