The year before last Brian Way wrote a story about the tool cart he keeps in the back of his truck. I recently visited Way in Connecticut and shot a video that explains in greater detail what’s contained in and carried on the cart—which he rolls onto the commercial jobsites where he installs cabinets and millwork.
Way calls his truck as a shop on wheels so it’s only natural he would refer to the cart as a mini ship on wheels. The truck gets him and his tools close to the work and the cart gets him the rest of the way there. Check it out; it’s a great example of how one carpenter got organized.
