with clients in the comfort of a
well-organized office, then slip into
the production facility to show off
the custom cabinets that are almost
ready to ship to the job site. On the
downside, trying to communicate
over the scream of power tools can be
impossible. But there’s no need to
shout: You can create a quiet attached
office with a modest investment, as
we found out.
Our situation is somewhat unusual,
as the office-shop combination is
located in an institutional building.
