When looking at a house, we all see many things —
everything from the quality of craftsmanship, to the
texture of the finishes, to the view out the window. As
an architect, I see these things too, but mainly I see the
design, and its principal element, the floor plan. It's
always frustrating to see a well-built house that has
basic floor-planning mistakes — especially ones that
could have easily been avoided.
