I am by no means alone in believing that the term "green
remodeling" has lost all meaning (if it ever had any). For many
in the field, the phrase has rung hollow for years. What sealed
the deal for me was a recent article in a leading trade
publication about a residential renovation project - a
2,600-square-foot addition - that had just won a major "green"
remodeling award.
Come on. If you can define "green" to include adding 2,600
square feet to a single-family home, you are clearly thinking
of it as a sales and marketing tool and...
