- Q.What glue works
best with MDF?
A.Just about anything,
including PVAs, epoxy, and polyurethanes. However,
because MDF tends to suck up aqueous glues, when
edge-gluing solid wood to the edges of MDF,
it’s advisable to pretreat the MDF with
Wood Size (available from Franklin) or Glue Size
(available from Custom-Pak Adhesives) to minimize
suck-up of the glue and a resulting poor
bond.
