is contact cement (which is typical), then I would
recommend using that. Just apply a generous amount
of contact cement to both surfaces and allow it to
dry, then press back into place. If wood glue was
used, spread water-based wood glue in the lifted
area and add pressure for a couple of hours or
until the glue is dry.
