Once in a while you get a chance to
do something really nice. Except for a
stint during a regional recession a few
years ago, I've always worked on referrals.
Customers typically wait a year or
more until I can get to them. But even
though most of my work is custom,
high-end construction, the project
that called for these arched dormers
required the kind of creativity that
keeps carpentry interesting.
