To run a successful advertising campaign, you have to use your head. Soon, you might be able to use someone else's, too.
Since September 15, a Providence, R.I.-based company called Headvertise has employed college students to wear temporary tattoos — on their foreheads — advertising the wares of six different companies.
Headvertise may not be ready for home improvement companies just yet, as few homeowners frequent typical college hangouts. Thus far, the company's clients — companies such as Roommates.com — have sought the attention of the 18 to 24 demographic.
However, co-founder Justin Kapust says Headvertise is planning on expanding to adult heads in the near future. He and partner Nathan Allen, both former students at Johnson & Wales University, are taking time off from school to concentrate on business ventures, including growing Headvertise.
