A brand of decking pitched as a non-toxic alternative to pressure-treated lumber is being removed from 30 homes in New Orleans after showing signs of decay on some of them. It’s another setback for TimberSIL and follows reports of trouble with paint adhesion last summer in Massachusetts. The company says that it will be investigating the problems.
