I’ve been building decks for 20 years, but the concept for my signature “walls of floating windows” originated before I started my current business. It happened quite by accident, during a remodel of my own home about 25 years ago. The contractor had mistakenly ordered a set of windows that didn’t match up; and rather than returning them or storing them, I used them to create a whimsical privacy wall to shield my deck from close-proximity neighbors. For my customers’ decks, I build and glaze the windows myself, using tempered glass when required by code.
