NADRA has announced the winners of the 10th annual National Deck Competition who were honored at the organization's awards presentation and celebration, held earlier this month in Louisville, Kentucky during the Remodeling Show and Deck Expo. Over 200 NADRA members and industry professionals gathered for an evening reception and buffet dinner at Copper & Kings American Brandy Company, a distillery and events venue in Louisville, to learn who would win the top prize in each of the contest's 20+ award categories.
Overall honors went to Sean McAleer of Deck Remodelers, Inc in Sparta, New Jersey, for an extensive backyard makeover project. Second place overall went to Jason Russell of Dr. Decks LLC, in Tacoma, Washington. This year, the People's Choice award went to Mark King and his team at Infinite Decks, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
