The first lawsuit against the lead paint industry was filed 25 years ago. The paint companies prevailed then as they have in every other case since. Until now? Ten California cities and towns are in the process of wrapping up their suit against representatives of 5 lead paint companies. In a Huffington Post story ("Lead Paint Makers Could Face The Same Fate As Big Tobacco"), at least one expert suggests the tide might be turning.
