Better Marketing Needed for Energy Savings To the Editor: The article “Simple Changes Yield Big Energy Savings” (Notebook, 7/01) describes simple measures that added a net cost of $600 to construction but saved $358 in energy costs the following year. That is a return on investment of 58%, tax free! Is there any other investment on the planet that can provide a return like this, year after year?
