Sometimes you have to tackle a job that you can't do from the ground and shouldn't do from a ladder. In addition to new construction, a number of old-house jobs often require scaffolding. These include masonry repointing, major repairs to gutters and soffits, re-siding and reshingling, whole-house painting and paint stripping, and building a porch or addition.
