Stainless Steal. Part of the Elite 61000 Series, the compact, no-nonsense Ballista hood sports a telescopic flue that can accommodate 8- to 9-foot ceiling heights, with optional extensions available. A concealed slide control operates the three-speed blower, which delivers 450 or 900 cfm, depending on the model. Art Ducto. Eliminating that shallow, inaccessible cabinet above the range — which is usually half-filled with ductwork anyway — violates no known law, and installing a handsome range hood with an integral duct shroud looks darn good.
