Purdy says its new XL Elite brush makes it easier to produce a high-quality finish with a low-VOC paint. The bristles — a blend of DuPont Chinex and Orel polyester filaments — are stiffer and hold their shape longer with thick, fast-drying coatings than competing products, the company says. The brush comes in nine sizes and shapes and costs $9.50 to $13.50.
