It's a house a hobbit could love. But Pembrokeshire County isn't Middle Earth — and young parents Charlie Hague and Megan Williams didn't have a permit to build the straw-bale and lime-plaster house with the conical round-wood roof frame and the funky footprint. So the county council wants the building demolished, reports the Daily Mail ("Pull down your hobbit home, couple told").

For what it's worth, the couple's Facebook page, "Charlie and Meg's Roundhouse," has garnered more than 8,500 "likes." Says Hague, "'We were born in the area, went to school here and have lived here all our lives. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else."
