Three judges will consider this year’s entries in the Remodeling Design Awards.

Karman Hotchkiss is the executive editor for shelter-related magazines at Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Publications. Her portfolio of nearly 50 issues per year includes consumer-focused magazines such as Kitchen & Bath Ideas, Do It Yourself, Refresh, and Before & After.

Donald Lococo is principal of Donald Lococo Architects in Washington, D.C. The award-winning DLA focuses exclusively on designs for single-family homes and additions and is adept in all architectural styles and historic periods. Clients include former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Paul Masi started Bates Masi + Architects in 1998. The firm has been honored with 93 awards—including the Best of the Year prize in the 2014 Remodeling Design Awards--and has been featured in national and international publications including The New York Times, New York Magazine, Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Metropolitan Home, Dwell, and Remodeling. The firm’s first monograph, Bespoke Home, with a foreward by Paul Goldberger, will be published this fall.
