The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) promoted staff member Fred Ulreich to executive vice president, the trade group's chief executive officer, NARI announced May 7.
Ulreich has been NARI's national director of business development and national membership since last September following stints at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Wells Fargo, and Affinity Center International. He succeeds Mary Harris.
"Fred's work experience and background are uniquely suited to the criteria sought for the position," NARI board chairman Art Donnelly said in a statement. "Fred is a strong team leader bringing a strategic perspective and collaborative work approach to the diversity of stakeholders within NARI."
