This year's Remodeling Design Awards includes 16 projects that have traditional interiors, modern additions, and unique features. It was no easy decision for our judges to choose this year's Project of the Year, but do you think they got it right?
After announcing the winning remodels, we let our readers choose the project they thought was the best. It was a close contest, but ultimately Bridge House, winner of a grand award for historically sensitive renovation, came out on top. The 116-year-old home in San Francisco features an open floor plan, tons of natural light, and, of course, a reclaimed redwood bridge to connect the second floor living spaces.
