The 21-in-1 Twist-a-Nut multi-bit, dual-ratcheting screwdriver is a must-have for professional electricians.
According to the manufacturer, Ideal Industries, the tool offers more fastening applications than any other tool designed for electricians and provides 50% more torquing power than standard ratchets.
The tool is configured so that four bits are pre-loaded into the driver shaft with an additional 12 bits stored in the handle. The tool's two interchangeable chrome-vanadium shafts are designed for driving 1/4-inch, 5/16-inch, and 7/16-inch nuts.
The handle also includes two wire looping holes, as well as Ideal's patented Wire-Nut ratcheting wrench formed into the bottom of the handle, which works with twist-on wire connectors from both Ideal as well as other producers.
The tool is built around an all-metal, 28-tooth ratcheting mechanism that delivers 225-pounds of torque. It provides three-position ratcheting action—clockwise, counter-clockwise, and locked.
In building upon its 6-in-1 tool, Ideal redesigned the handle, which according to the manufacturer, brings added durability, comfort, and torque to the two-part dual durometer grip. The grip has "leopard spots" to make it easier to grip with wet hands.
The 21-in-1 Twist-a-Nut screwdriver is compatible with Ideal's conduit deburring tool and it's 6-in-1 tap tool.
