Trimble’s new Spectra Precision LT56 three-line laser (one horizontal, two vertical) offers durability and ease of use. Designed with a rubber overmold, the LT56 can withstand a 3-foot drop, according to the manufacturer. The included universal mount has vertical and horizontal adjustments for fine-tuning, and the laser can be coupled with the Spectra HR220 receiver (not included) for outdoor operation. The unit is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that gives the tool anywhere from 25 to 50 hours on a charge, depending on how many beams are used.
