I’ve been wearing the CAT Munising 6-inch Waterproof Composite Toe Work Boot for a while now. They feature a non-metallic composite toe, electrical hazard protection against open circuits up to 600 volts in dry conditions, and a full-grain leather waterproof upper, as well as nylon mesh lining.

With a waterproof upper and breathable lining, these boots have been my go-to for winter work. I've gotten two full winter seasons out of them so far, and they are still going strong this season. I’ve found the nylon shank to offer good support. They’re lightweight and comfortable. The footbed in them feels a little flat; however, I’ve never needed any additional arch support. If you have higher arches, you might want to add arch supports to them.

Traction of the out-sole is excellent overall. Traction on the construction site is solid and sure. Traction in snow is good and on icy driveways and walkways is decent, but ice is ice and always requires being careful.

Working in them all day on concrete (or otherwise being on your feet all day) is comfortable. I have some lower back issues and these boots seem to help with that. At $150, I would recommend these because they are durable (I've never had a boot last multiple seasons), they stay warm and dry, and overall, they are comfortable.
