Spyder Products has launched its new Tarantula line of carbide-tipped hole saws, which range in size from ¾ to 4 ¼ inches in diameter.
The manufacturer claims these hole saws perform up to ten times faster than standard bi-metal hole saw products, and provide up to 50 times more cuts during their usable life. The carbide-tipped teeth may be used to cut through stainless steel, steel, cast iron, nail-embedded wood, and cement fiber board.
The saws feature Spyder’s Rapid Core Eject arbor system, which enables instant hole saw core ejection without the need for additional tools. In a one-second process, users can press a button, slide the assembly toward the drill, and pull the core free of the arbor. The arbor assembly also enables users to make holes up to 2 3/8 inches deep, easily cut at an angle, or layer two saws together to make larger-diameter holes.
"The Tarantula line represents the ultimate in hole saw performance and convenience," says Ryan Campbell, executive vice president of Spyder Products.
