Remodelers' outlook for the next three months hit a record high in March, perhaps in part because the winter caused them to lower their assessment of current conditions, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry's (NARI) latest Remodeling Business Pulse suggests.
The outlook for the next three months jumped to 6.51 from December's 6.41. Meanwhile, the assessment of current conditions dropped to 6.07 in March from 6.41 three months before. “The harsh winter seemed to have played a role in the decline of our numbers this quarter,” says Tom O’Grady, chairman of NARI’s strategic planning committee.
