Six months after President Obama signed the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA), homeowners are scurrying to take advantage of tax incentives for both purchasing homes and for upgrading the homes they live in now. To that end, remodelers have many opportunities to win business from homeowners that want to replace their roofs, windows, and doors; re-insulate their attics; and upgrade their HVAC equipment.

Manufacturers are leveraging the market activity as well, by introducing new products that meet federal tax credit requirements. Included here are several such products, new from Coleman, Harman Heating, Republic Windows, Rheem, Rotobrush, Serious Windows, Stiebel-Eltron, and Weather shield.

Find additional tax credit-eligible products in each issue of Remodeling for the rest of 2009, and moving forward into 2010. —Lauren Hunter is associate editor - products for Remodeling magazine.
