Do your customer's know the difference between ACV and RCV? They should, but many don't, giving you the opportunity to be a hero by helping them avoid the shock that ACV coverage, a relatively new insurance product, may instill.

With "actual cash value," or ACV, coverage the insurer pays to repair or replace the roof, less the owner's deductible and depreciation for the age and type of roof.
