The tools in these catalogs show, in part, the extraordinary activity of tool companies that flourished from 1850 to 1950 as the mechanical revolution took hold worldwide. The ads are presented here with their original text and prices. You'll notice that prices have increased slightly since the time these tools were first offered. But don't be discouraged.
