The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) has announced new alliances that are intended to strengthen the value of its services to members. The alliances are with a local-market consumer magazine and a provider of business development education for small businesses.

Home Improvement Magazine, which joined NARI as a national member, will assist NARI with its local market connections to spread the word about the NARI brand with homeowners in local markets. "The goal is to leverage the two organizations' strengths to develop services that better serve NARI members, and their customers, the homeowner," said Mary Busey Harris, CAE, NARI's Executive Director.

As a result of NARI's alliance with Santa Rosa, Calif. based E-Myth Worldwide, an innovative online course called E-Myth Essentials will be available to the entire NARI membership base at no charge. The E-Myth Essentials course was designed to help business owners obtain valuable insights into how to develop and improve business systems, and how to gain more time, more money, and more life. "E-Myth has an excellent reputation and is a recognized leader in their field," said Everett Collier, CR president of NARI. "The course will be viewed by our members as a valuable resource, not least because it will give them a way to effectively identify and manage gaps in their business development skills and knowledge. "Providing our members with new tools to enhance their businesses will help encourage their success and improve economic competitiveness," said Collier. "We strongly urge our members to use this free interactive training to build a business that works more optimally."
