Zephyr says its Milano Island range hood has been upgraded for better performance. The new model has a direct-current brushless motor that’s supposed to be quieter and more powerful than the previous motor. It also has dimmable LED light bulbs and a computerized control system that the maker says reduces energy consumption by 80 percent. Retail pricing starts at $1,890.
