Tile Marker. The easiest way to avoid inaccurate measurements is to not measure at all. The Kapro 303 Hole Marker lets you transfer the exact position of a pipe stub from wall to tile without pulling out your tape measure. You can hold the marker flush against installed tile or use spacers to allow for grout line width. The open hole on the other end of the blade lets you reach pipe behind an installed valve or faucet. You can also mark the top and far side of an electrical box cutout — but you'll need to measure or trace a box to complete the marking. The product costs $12. Kapro, 920/648-2900. www.kapro.com
