How High? There's a better way to measure bit height than balancing a ruler on end above the hole in your router table: Install a Wixey WR 525 Remote Digital Readout, which displays measurements in thousandths or 32nds of an inch, or in .05-millimeter increments. You can re-zero the device anywhere along its 4.9-inch range to change the height by a set amount; the 3-foot cord unplugs for easy access to the router. Two small screws mount the unit to a router lift or between a router and table. (The WR 525 won't work on a router that needs to rotate for height adjustment.) Wixey sells it direct for $80.
