In the beginning of June of this year, Milwaukee Tools hosted its annual product kickoff event at its headquarters in Milwaukee. There's a lot of growth and development happening on its corporate campus - including a large office building scheduled to be finished sometime this year where product development will continue to expand. Over 100 pro users and media outlets were in attendance.
In the slideshow, you'll see a sampling of some of Milwaukee's biggest announcements for this year. But the firm promised even bigger announcements next year. There was mention of a cordless table saw and router, for example. For this year, cordless continues to be the dominant theme - in fact, we didn't see one corded tool during the entire event. It is expanding its M12 and M18 battery platforms, and bringing some earlier generations into its brushless motor family known as Fuel. It even pulled out single cells from its Redlithium batteries to create smaller rechargeable tools.
