Now that LEDs are on just about every power tool you can name, it's apparently time for them to start showing up on hand tools. Craftsman's lighted pliers are one of the first forays into this territory. The working end of the pliers is lit by a small LED that shines from the pivot. A button activates the light, and an auto-shutoff conserves the three replaceable watch batteries. The tools are water-, oil-, and solvent-resistant and are available as diagonal cutters (pictured), linesman pliers, and long-nose pliers.
