You be the judge.

I’ll give you the chapter and verse from the company website, which is charming and cool and hip (no pun intended).

Rather than prattle on, I’ll let them take it from here. Video below.

Roofus combines the features of a combination square, bevel, protractor, level, and layout square in one easy-to-use tool. The blade can be extended or retracted to the required depth and rotated to the required angle before being held in position using the pivot lock. Alternatively, the square lock can be used to set the blade at 90 degrees before locking the depth with the pivot lock. The front has common degree markings while the back is calibrated for hip and valley work.

Roofus is available in two variants (Standard and Pro). Standard models are injection molded from high-quality metal replacement composite resin. Pro models are machined from solid 6061 aircraft aluminum, finished with sand blasting and protective anodizing. Rulers are precision machined from tough knife blade stainless steel. U.S. models are fitted with a 14-inch ruler; non-U.S. models are fitted with a 350mm ruler.
