In 2006 the Remodeling Show heads to the Lakeside Center, McCormick Place, Chicago. This year's Show, owned and operated by our publisher Hanley Wood, LLC, is expected to attract more than 10,000 remodelers and home improvement professionals from around the country. Each year they come to be educated by classes that are part of the Remodeling Show conference, to visit the Show floor packed with products from more than 350 manufacturers and filling more than 100,000 net square feet of exhibit space, and to network with peers.

Work Smarter The Remodeling Show's educational program offers a wealth of information for both you and your employees, with two streams through which to get your info: the Show floor (demos and clinics) and the Conference (workshops, seminars, and CAPS/ CGR classes).
This year's Show offers 20-plus on-floor technical demos and clinics on everything from hanging doors to hanging drywall. And the conference program has a total of 86 sessions (including the CGR and CAPS classes), with 14 seminars and workshops specifically designed for field personnel. Speakers include REMODELING columnist Shawn McCadden on eliminating punch lists, and REMODELING contributor Tim Faller on time management and customer service.
And, for business owners and managers, the Master Series (which requires separate registration) presents course material for high-level remodeling personnel on topics such as client psyche and mastering the art of delegation.
Continuing Ed Remodeling Show seminars qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Institute of Building Designers (AIBD), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).
