Jeff Stief, general manager at Dunn-Wright Remodeling, in San Antonio, says that although the company doesn’t actively pursue commercial projects, it has done quite a few. The work comes from a variety of sources and referrals. Working on a church or popular neighborhood restaurant, he says, gives the company “credibility and name recognition.”
While some residential prospects feel that a company that does work for the city knows how to navigate the tough zoning laws, others believe that a company that does commercial work may be too big or expensive. That’s why Dunn-Wright emphasizes residential work on its website.
