Klein Tools released a new line of insulated tools designed to be sleeker and slimmer than the tool maker's current line of insulated pliers.
The new Electrician's Insulated Tools line features 12 tools, all of which are certified by the VDE Testing and Certification Institute and provide 1,000-volt protection. The grips of the tools are injection molded and feature a three part insulation that includes a white underlayer that serves as a warning sign if the insulation is compromised. According to the manufacturer this is an extra layer of protection not found in other tools on the market.
The grips' durable, molded insulation also meets or exceeds ASTM F1505 and IEC 60900 standards for insulated tools. The thumb guards on each tool are designed for easier handling and storage.
