Job-Site Falls

Residential construction workers face higher risks of a fall from a roof than those in other construction sectors. Higher rates of fatal falls were recorded among workers younger than 20 and older than 44, racial minorities, and immigrant workers, according to a study funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
