You can practically smell the cedar that The Samurai Carpenter uses in this video as he’s scribing his fence post bases to the stones on which they sit. In his inimitable style, the rest of the fence is mortise and tenoned and richly designed and detailed. He even finishes each board before installation so all six sides get coated.
