SawStop announced the launch of a 10-inch Compact Table Saw - the first table saw option below $1000 with the company's famous and highly sought-after blade-stopping safety feature.

(See video below.) This all happens within five milliseconds. Injuries are dramatically minimize. The saw can reportedly be reset is quick and easy, so operators can get back to work in minutes after a brake activation.

- a quick-tilt bevel adjustment designed for one-handed blade angle adjustments. This includes a micro-adjust feature that provides the ability to quickly dial in a precise cutting angle.
- an on-saw compartment that provides easy assess and storage of accessories and tools
