Deck Collapse Injures 21

This seems to be a summer of serious deck mishaps. In Ocean Isle Beach, N.C., 20 people were taken to area hospitals after a second-story deck at a $10,000-a-week rental home failed. One official blamed the state’s building code, which he says doesn’t take the harsh beach environment into account.
